How to Post a Comment

IMG_5599.jpg

A number of people have emailed me saying they are having trouble posting a comment. I must confess the google system is not quite straight forward.
Here is how to do it.... first click on the comment tag below the post/article that you wish to write about. Then where it says "comment as" click on select profile and choose from the drop down list. The choices at the top you have to register with google/wordpress/typepad ect if you dont have and dont want one of these options then at the bottom you can click on name/url or anonymous ..... your post will have more weight if you use your name !

After you have selected your profile type your message in the box then press the preview button.. this is a important step... you will be asked to verify your post ( this stops spam ) then you press "post comment"

Easy huh !!! Get to work !!

  2. Good morning John,

We would like to support the comment left by Baz and encourage the council to now take the next step and organise a properly constructed and impartial investigation into the feasiblity of this project. Only then will they have the facts and figures with which to judge whether this community can afford such a facility.

    Regards

    Brian and Vicky Wilson

  3. would be great to see some info. sessions available for people with interest in standing for local gov. this yr. particularly to attract a
younger representation + a female one - to give a cross section opinion of our population when it comes to decision making

  4. this blog site would be great to be advertised in the local bulletin
would be great if there were some funds available to pay someone to manage this site + turn it into a proactive site for having a say in local gov.

  5. Hi Karen

Thanks very much for your comments and support.I agree with you about the info session idea. Who would you envisage running /hosting this ?
I may well put a few adds in the bulletin .... I did that with my old blogsite and got a good response.....I am hoping that the old readers return ...please spread the word.! No need for funds at the moment , I am happy doing for free ... my main aim is to get the community more actively involved in local government and start thinking about the big issues before the next election.

  7. Concerned regarding vision and planning for Denmark villiage. Mithcell St is beginning to look like an industrial area with the number of steel sheds it contains. Maybe look at building codes for commercial vs industrial and standards for commercial buildings.

  8. I agree , however with all this future growth planned ( not by me ) there are consequences .... some are unpleasant. We all talk about the "village " it is a term used a lot by real estate agents and developers to spruik for sales . I would say we are not going to be a village for much longer ...have a look at my how big post . The future doesnt just have to happen we can make choices.
